Traffic management

The cluster on traffic management was established in 2004. During the first year the activities of the cluster were focused on dynamic traffic management, such as the use of dynamic speed limit indicators, route suggestions and travel time prediction.

In recent years the scope of the cluster has widened to traffic management from a broader point of view. Now the cluster also includes traffic master plans and modelling of traffic flows, including traffic on roads, railways and water. Within these types of projects also expertise on economics, social aspects and the envorinment is implemented.
