The building cluster was established just recently in 2007. During a visit of Tyréns to Witteveen+Bos, a first longlist of shared topics of interest was exchanged amongst highrise- and subsoil buildings in urban environments and multi stored wooden structures.

Besides exchanging the longlist of shared topics, the exchange of knowledge on expert items like fire, wind hinderance around buildings and building concepts, and different forms of contracts were discussed. Similar meetings with both Sogreah and NIRAS will soon be organized, followed by knowledge exchange workshops. It is expected that this will result into interesting joint projects in the near future.
