The cluster for integrated water management was established in 2007. Just like most of the other clusters, the main focus of this cluster focuses is the exchange of expertise. Besides that, the cluster wants to execute projects together with the SEEN partners in the field of hydrology, hydraulics, water quality and ecology of surface waters and groundwater.

Important issues are the implementation of the European Water Framework Directive and the impacts of climate change on water management.
