The cluster hydraulic infrastructure focuses on all elements of the interaction land and water. Every partner within SEEN have their home offices in countries with close ties to the sea. Therefore there are substantial resources available with high quality knowledge and experience with projects in the field of ports, jetties, terminals, channels, dredging, breakwaters, coastal zones, etcetera. The cluster hydraulic infrastructure was established to exchange knowledge about this extraordinary knowledge and experience.

The partners within SEEN can offer the total projectcycle, from the very initial identification and feasibility studies to the construction management, supervision and handing over of the project to the client.

Several of these projects are located in exceptional places and require exceptional solutions, for example ports in hurricane prone areas or islands in Caspian Sea with heavy ice conditions. Knowledge about these exceptional solutions is available in SEEN. Especially worthwhile to mention are the hydraulic laboratory facilities of Sogreah.
