The cluster buildingprocess innovation focuses mainly on using each other’s knowledge and experience. The cluster for example exchanges knowledge and experience about the changes on the construction markt and changes in the area of tendering.

The construction market is rapidly changing. In Europe the government is stepping back and thus generating new opportunities for the private market. In effect a tendency is noticed that integrated forms of contract are applied more often. In these kind of contracts design and construction are allocated to one contractor. This causes new ways of co-operation between client and contractor.

In the area of tendering, changes can be seen as well. More innovative tendering is taking place, but on the other hand, the three pillars transparency, objectivity and non-discrimination are more and more important. The pressure to apply the European tender rules is increasing. Tendering and contract forms are becoming a specialism of its own.
